Welcome
The Society for Caribbean Linguistics (SCL) will meet at The University of the West Indies (UWI) in Jamaica from 1 to 6 August 2016 (travel dates 1 & 6 August) for its 21st Biennial Conference. The Conference will be hosted by the UWI Department of Language, Linguistics and Philosophy, the Jamaican Language Unit (JLU) and the International Centre for Caribbean Language Research (ICCLR) under the theme "Caribbean Languages 2 di World: Caribbean Languages in a Globalized World".

Travel Alert: The Ministry of Health, Jamaica has advised that persons travelling to Jamaica from Yellow fever endemic countries or Yellow fever affected areas are required to show proof at the ports of entry of having received a Yellow fever vaccination. Please note that this includes travel to Trinidad and Tobago.
